Clint spent a half hour killing them outside. I stayed inside and killed them as they climbed in under the door. We still didn't get them all, they just kept coming. GROSS!! This picture is the next morning of some of the dead ones. Those of you who have seen our porch know it is pretty big. Well the half closest to the house looked like this. We are still finding them. We were eating lunch today and I felt something on my arm and it was one. I got the chills and kind of freaked out. I think I embarrassed Clint because he had two of the guys that work with him there. Oh well it was really gross.
Kale is so cute. Yesterday, as we were heading home from making our Father's Day visits, he asks, "Do we have a Brother's and Sister's day?" I almost said no but Clint said "yes" and so we will now be having a day for Brothers and a day for sisters. Kale asked which one came first and we asked him what day he thought would come first and of course he said "Brother's day" but Clint said that usually girls go first. Darcy is excited because she knows she is the only sister. It should be fun!
Darcy, what a silly girl. She has decided she needs to show off, I think she has always liked to show off but holy cow! She wants you to watch her non stop. I hear "Mom watch me" at least a hundred times a day. I always tell the kids a story before bed and the other night I told Kale first and by the time I got to Darcy she was already asleep. Well, at about two in the morning I hear "Mom, you didn't tell me a story!" Well, being 6 1/2 months pregnant of course when I stood up I had to use the bathroom so by the time I got to her she was already back asleep. Fifteen minutes later "Mom you didn't tell me a story!" So I trudged back in there and told her a story. It was "The Three Little Pigs" She didn't even make it to the first house getting blown down. Fifteen minutes later I heard her start fussing again and I thought I was going to have to go back in. Luckily she just went right back to sleep.
Wyatt is such a goof ball lately. He has learned a lot of new words and uses them quite regularly. I wish he would use all of his words more regularly. Someday. Today I had him in the bath and let the water go. Well he was not ready to get out yet. Our handle turns to adjust the temperature and you pull it out to turn in on. He knows that you have to do something with it to get the water. He kept turning it. I didn't think he would ever be able to get any water out. Yeah right! After a few attempts he managed to pull it out far enough to get a little trickle. You should have seen how excited and proud of himself he was. It was priceless.
