April

Since I don't have internet at my house yet, it is a little harder to blog. I will probably be slow with every post now.

So we are in our house and loving it!! Unfortunatly I haven't been feeling very well so I haven't gotten much done as far as unpacking and setting up house. I did get the kitchen done...well as much of the stuff as I have found anyway. But we can cook and get by with what we have.

Anyway on to more exciting things. Here is our Easter pictures finally.

Here are the kids with all the good stuff they got from the Easter Bunny. I don't know why it is such a crappy picture.

Here they are coloring Easter eggs. We did it Sunday morning after the kids got up and got their Easter baskets. With everything going on with the Tawna's wedding and stuff we just didn't have a chance to do it before. And that is all the pictures I got. Since Clint got me a new video camera I have started recording way more than taking still pictures.

It was such a crazy morning. Clint's whole family ended up being there. Even the newlyweds showed up for a while. After breakfast and coloring eggs we had an Easter egg hunt in Lloyd and Kalynn's front room! It was insane. Kalynn puts money in the plastic eggs so everyone is going crazy trying to find the ones with money in them. It was pretty funny because we thought we had found them all and then Kalynn asked who had gotten the ten and five dollar bills. And no one had them. So everyone went wild again trying to find them. As it turned out my kids ended up with all the money except like two or three dollars. I think that the older kids were disappointed. But oh well. Then it turned into an Easter egg war. I am not sure how that happened. But everyone started throwing the eggs at each other...well I guess it was really Scott against everyone else! It is a little different to be with the Bartons because they are a lot wilder and physical than my family. But we have a lot of fun, and I get a lot of good laughs.

So my little girl turned three on the 21st. I can't believe she is that old!! Time has flown by so fast. She has been so much fun and such an adventure!

Here she is with her birthday cake. We've always called her our little princess, so I decided to make her a princess cake. She loved it! I had fun making it too. I did spend too much time in town earlier in the day so I was really short on time decorating it so it wasn't as fancy as I planned. And I wanted to find a little crown to put on her too but failed in that too.

I asked her what kind of ice cream she wanted and she said, "pink." I knew when I asked that she didn't know what kinds of ice cream there are but I was curious to find out what she would say. She got what she wanted. I went a little crazy with pink. I can't help it. With so many boys in the house we don't do a whole lot with pink so when I get a chance I have fun. Plus, it is her favorite color.
Here she is opening one of her presents from Grandma Kalynn and Grandpa Lloyd. You can see Wyatt in the background. He insisted on having one of her presents in his hands. I was surprised he didn't fuss more when we made him give them to Darcy.

I love this picture. She was so excited! This is a mermaid that swims in the bath tub. She has to have it when she takes her baths now. She forgot it the other day and wouldn't leave me alone until I got it for her.

This is all the Princess dress up stuff she got from Scott and Lisa. She loves them. I liked them until she used the ring to scratch my fridge. Luckily it isn't too noticeable. You can kind of see behind her the Beauty and the Beast tea set that Grandpa Udell and Grandma Virginia gave her. She is definitly our little princess. She got a whole new wardrobe between Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Larris and Clint and I. I told my mom that is all she really needed so that is what she got her. I should have taken pictures of her in her outfits through the week since every day she has worn something new. Maybe even two or three times a day. Kale was cute he told me he wanted to get Darcy some new pajamas so he gave her a nightgown. This is the first time she has had a nightgown and thought it was a dress and she could wear it during the day. It is actually cute enough that she could. This was so funny. You can't really tell but in one had he is holding a fork and the other is the doll off Darcy's cake. I wish I would have gotten one when he was actually using the fork to eat off the doll. It was really cute. Oh and you can see part of one of the dresses my mom bought Darcy. We just put it on over the clothes she had on to see if they were long enough.

I don't know why we didn't get any pictures of Kale. The kids were kind of out of control that night. They loved having everyone at our house. It was fun for us too. We had all of Clint's and my family that live in town over and had plenty of room for everyone! It was so nice. We could have even fit more people if we had wanted to. I can tell already we will do more things at our house than we used to.

Sorry I get a little carried away when I post. I usually do it when Clint is gone (he went camping again, second weekend in a row) and I get a little lonely. So, sorry if it gets a little boring. :)
