Wyatt is a year old and last Sunday he took his first steps. He just decided he could walk. He is getting braver every day but still prefers to crawl. He has also started making kiss noices when you say "kisses" and then he will give you a kiss. I think he will always be my little teddy bear.
Darcy has been driving me crazy. She keeps sneaking into the sugar and eating handfulls. Or she will find some kind of treat and hide somewhere and eat it. What am I saying she does that with everything...lotion, tums, diaper rash cream, you name it she has probably eaten it. I don't know what to do with her. But she is a lot of fun. She listens rather well and is a big help.
Kale is growing up way too fast. He wants to go to school every day. That makes me sad. I am not ready for that at all. He is always saying such mature things. I love to have him say prayers you can tell he thinks about what he is saying. Or maybe you can just tell what we have talked to him about recently. But at least I know the things that I am telling him are actually sinking in somewhat.
The house is coming along! In the last week we picked out our lights, coutertops, and sinks. I think the painting is pretty much done. The tile in the kitchen and dining is almost done and all the cabinets are hung! I am getting so excited to move in. It just couldn't come fast enough. I wish we were going to be in for my birthday at the end of the month but Clint says it will probably be the middle of next month. Oh well, there is not a whole lot that I can do to speed it up.
